Women travel from far and wide to immerse themselves in the creativity, connection, and dance held within this sanctuary space.

Nina and Bushka are the founders of Tribal in the Tropics (TTT)—an annual dance festival held in Cairns, since 2013. This vibrant three-day event features workshops, study sessions, and an intimate, colourful soirée celebrating the joy of community and dance. Alongside TTT, Nina facilitates the Advanced Master Class—a leadership forum for Global Caravan dancers across the country.

Running alongside her teachings, Nina is a costume designer, jewellery maker and ethnic adornment history enthusiast.  Nina -together with Bushka—has helped shape the evolving costuming aesthetic of the Global Caravan Dance community.
