Tribal in the Tropics (TTT) is a three day Global Caravan Dance festival in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland, hosted by the inspirational mother daughter duo - Australian Master Teacher Nina Martinez, and Artist Bushka. From its beginnings in 2013, it has grown into a popular annual event where women reconnect each year to share their love of dance and to craft, study and mingle. A private soiree is held on the Friday evening where dancers perform and celebrate each other.
Dance workshops over the three days are facilitated by Master Teacher Nina Martinez, and local and international GC Guest Master Teachers, and Teachers.
Local artist, Bushka, hosts crafting workshops, sharing her magic and artistry.
Prior to TTT is the Advanced Master Class (AMC) which is held for two days at The Temple. The AMC is a forum for Australian GC teachers.
Backed by the beauty of the rainforest, the blue skies and sea and the relaxed Tropical holiday vibe of Cairns, Tribal in the Tropics is not only a magical weekend of dance and connection but a great getaway!
